For our R&D unit in Athens, Greece, we are looking for talented Software Engineers HTML5/JavaScript (m/f/d).

Our product portfolio includes an award-winning highly-secure communication portfolio for conferencing and collaboration (Spreed, Spreedbox), medical application for Radiologist, a renowned planning suite for financial-mathematical calculations and secure cloud services for government and industry. The major responsibilities of the HTML5/JavaScript Software Engineer will be:
- Development and optimization of open source user’s cloud frontend(s)
- Development of new software solutions with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, VueJS and Angular
- Analysis, evaluation and preparation of new approaches together with our product management
- Creating web sites with content management systems
- Quality assurance, testing, maintenance and documentation for existing as well as new software components
- Involvement in UX design
The ideal employees will have:
- MSc/BS in Computer Science, IT or similar
- Several years of profound experience in frontend development with JavaScript and HTML5
- Profound knowledge of Internet technologies and protocols such as HTML5, PHP, WebRTC, REST, XML, CSS as well as AJAX and JavaScript
- Experienced in handling APIs and web applications
- Knowledge of programming languages Python and/or Ruby
- Open Source and Linux skills for desktop and server

- Familiar with content management systems (WordPress, TYPO3 or other)
- Good English language skills
- Keen perception and a strong sense of responsibility
- Organisation skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
