The "Editor Integration" module turns icoya OpenContent into the complete document management system.

Users of icoya OpenContent, the powerful and cost-effective content management system by struktur AG, Germany, are now able to edit content and documents with arbitrary applications.

By using the icoya Editor Integration module users can edit documents in the CMS database directly with any kind of MS-Windows application. This inludes for example editing images with Adobe Photoshop, HTML pages with Macromedia Dreamweaver, or office documents with MS-Office. The changes made are stored directly in the icoya OpenContent database utilizing standard HTTP and HTTP/S protocols.

The integrated WebDAV file-locking mechanism prevents simultaneous editing of documents by multiple users and assures data consistency throughout. High data security is given by the internationally accepted 128-bit SSL/HTTP secure encryption standard.
